The parties discussed a wide range of issues related to interaction between Belarus and the Russian capital with a focus on further development of cooperation in trade, economy and industry.
Nizhny Novgorod hopes to host the Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia in 2025, Governor of Russia's Nizhny Novgorod Oblast Gleb Nikitin said during the 18th meeting of the Business Cooperation Council of Belarus and Nizhny Novgorod Oblast.
“Over the past year, since the previous Business Cooperation Council between Nizhny Novgorod Oblast and the Republic of Belarus was held, more than 16 events to promote industrial development and joint projects have taken place, more than 300 enterprises have taken part in our events,” said Maxim Cherkasov.
The Belarusian head of government attended the presentation of the first electric bus MiNiN, produced by Belarusian and Russian machine-builders for passenger transportation in Nizhny Novgorod.
