Mae C. Shields, 95, of Moorhead, MN, passed away on Tuesday, January 2, 2024, at Lilac Homes in Moorhead. Mae was born January 6, 1928, in Wilkin County, MN, to Daniel and Lena (Olson) Danielson. She grew up on the family farm near Comstock, MN, and attended rural country school in her early years. Mae graduated from Comstock High School and continued her education at Business College in Fargo. On September 18, 1950, Mae married Donald Shields. Together they made their home in Moorhead. Over the years, Mae enjoyed working at Concordia College in dining service and taking care of others. She loved spending time outdoors, caring for her flower gardens and spending time with her family. Mae will be dearly missed. ....

Carole Mayeron Hyslop

Carole Mayeron Hyslop peacefully passed away on July 23, 2023, in Peoria, Arizona at the age of 77. She was born on February 13, 1946, in St. Paul, Minnesota, to Art and Marian Mayeron formerly of Detroit Lakes (now deceased). In her early years, Carole attended Rossman Elementary in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota, before graduating from Detroit Lakes High School in 1964. She further pursued her education at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis and Interstate Business College in Fargo, North Dakota. Carole was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Gary Hyslop, her parents, and her brother, Michael Mayeron. Carole’s life was filled with love, joy, and cherished moments with her family and friends. She leaves behind a legacy of fond memories and a profound impact on those who had the privilege of knowing her. Helen Elizabeth Hansen passed away on Saturday, June 24, 2023 while residing at Bethany on 42nd, Skilled Care. Helen Elizabeth Vosper was born July 21, 1928, on the family farm, in Neche, ND. She was the youngest daughter of Fred and Nellie Vosper. She grew up in Neche and graduated from Neche High School in 1946 as valedictorian and was active in band, playing the cornet and as a cheerleader.
