英特尔转型代工业务大难题：没合适的收购目标--IT时代网


市场研究公司VLSI Research首席执行官丹·哈奇森 (Dan Hutcheson)表示，收购代工厂将为英特尔带来“真正的客户支持人员，而不是主要由管理层指挥的技术人员。”“三星花了10年时间才建立起真正的代工业务。”
但分析师对格芯的估值提出了质疑，而且诸如AMD等公司主要客户与英特尔存在竞争关系。
伯恩斯坦研究公司分析师史黛西·罗根(Stacy Rasgon)指出，如果英特尔想收购一家大型代工企业，除了格芯之外就没有什么可选的了。
哈奇森称，如果英特尔无法通过收购大型代工厂建立起代工业务，其唯一的选择可能是收购安森美或者亚德诺等仍拥有部分自有工厂的小型芯片公司。
但英特尔在代工行业的大多数潜在竞争对手采取了不同的方法，保留旧技术，为不需要最新技术的客户制造更便宜的芯片。
