Kota Kinabalu: A 31-year-old man was jailed a total of 18 months on Tuesday on two counts of burglary and having stolen property.
Taufiq Karman pleaded guilty before Magistrate Stephanie Sherron Abbie to committing the offences.
Taufiq was sentenced to eight months’ jail for breaking into Rong Ji Tang shop at Penampang new township between 3am and 7.30am on March 16, this year.

On the second count, Taufiq was handed 10 months jail for having a stolen wristwatch worth RM120 at 11.30am on March 22 in front of the main entrance of the Centre Point Complex. ....
