EXCLUSIVE: Zamfara To Spend N3Billion On 'Consultancy Services For Government Projects'; N950Million To Build Emirs' Palaces; N350Million For Mosques, Cemeteries

The Zamfara State government led by Governor Dauda Lawal will spend N3 billion as “payment for consultancy services for government projects and programmes” in 2024, SaharaReporters can report.   The amount is contained in the state’s 2024 appropriation bill of N426 billion signed into law by the governor in December 2023.   The approved budget was tagged as the Budget of Rescue.

When former President Muhammadu Buhari came, Nigerians were deceived into believing that he’s got body language. Of course, that horrid legacy worked for some time, until Nigerians woke up from their slumber only to discover that body language as a pill has an expiry date. One major challenge with the present government is that it doesn’t even seem to have a body language; and that’s unfortunate.
