In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the furniture maker said 12 foreign employees of its subsidiary were first confirmed to be infected on Wednesday, June 9. ....

KUALA LUMPUR, April 26 Johor-based furniture manufacturer Mobilia Holdings Bhd (Mobilia) said its subsidiary Mobilia International Sdn Bhd has been instructed by the Ministry of Health to suspend operations after some of its employees were tested positive for Covid-19. The suspension starts today (April 26) until May 2. In a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, the company said the temporary suspension of its subsidiary in Bukit Bakri, Muar, is expected to delay the shipment of several sales orders. ....
There are again more new cases compared to recoveries. Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said a total of 2,195 new cases were reported, bringing the cumulative total to 375,054. Sarawak, he said, recorded the highest number at 508, followed by Selangor (431), Johor (387) and Kelantan (332). Last week, Malaysia recorded more than 2,000 daily cases for the first time in six weeks. Yesterday, a total of 1,427 recoveries were also recorded, bringing the number of discharged cases to 353,822, while 19,854 cases were considered to be active. Eight deaths were recorded, bringing the death toll to 1,378. The dead were all Malaysians – aged from 37 to 90 – with a history of comorbidities. ....
