Three bodies including the corpse of an 11-year-old girl were recovered from the rubble of a collapsed mosque in the Mushin area of Lagos State on Sunday. The incident occurred in the Papa Ajao area of Mushin on Sunday afternoon during prayer time (Zuhr prayer). Earlier in the day, the spokesman for the Lagos State Police Command, Benjamin Hundeyin on X, said only an 11-year-old girl had been found dead following the incident and that others who sustained varying degrees of injury had been taken to nearby hospitals for treatment.
