Buhari Aide-de-Camp, Abubakar, proceeds on course A new Aide-de-Camp has been appointed for the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.). The new ADC, Lt-Col Yusuf Dodo, takes over from Col. Mohammed Abubakar who has been with the President since inception of his regime in 2015. Abubakar is proceeding to Santiago, Chile for a five-month Strategic and Defence Course from March 8. The course is a prerequisite for his next promotion to the rank of Brigadier-General. An ADC is one of the prominent security officials in the “inner ring” of the Presidency.
