Christina the current funding expires on april 28. Are we a week away from a Government Shutdown . Rep. Yarmuth i think it is highly unlikely. I think most likely he will see a shortterm continuing resolution a week or two. That will provide enough time for negotiations to take place. I think both sides have things they would like to see in any funding mechanism over the last five months of the fiscal year, so i suspect we will look for more time to do that rather than get that all accomplished in basically three days next week. Eric republicans control the white house and both houses of congress, but i hear some of your democratic colleagues saying democrats have the upper hand in the bill will luck it would have under president obama.
