A Yardley man who admitted to stealing from hundreds of unlocked vehicles in the region faces new charges.
On Tuesday, Keith Johnson was arraigned on charges alleging he stole from a minimum of 299 unlocked vehicles in Bucks, Montgomery and Philadelphia counties.
Johnson, 33, is charged with about 973 offenses, including several counts of receiving stolen property, theft, theft from a motor vehicle and loitering and prowling at night.
As of Wednesday Johnson remained in Bucks County Prison in lieu of 10% of $100,000 bail.
The Attorney General s Office and Buckingham police, which filed the charges together, said that Johnson is responsible for thefts from unlocked vehicles in Bucks, Montgomery and Philadelphia counties from September 2019 until December 2020.
