Kirkersville s Harget replaces Wardlow as Buckeye Lake Police Chief The Buckeye Lake Police Department has its third chief of police in an approximately two-year period. According to a recent social media post made by Mayor Peggy Wells, Jason Harget, formerly chief of police for the village of Kirkersville, is Buckeye Lake s new chief. On the morning of March 9, an official answering the department’s main line on March 9 said of former Chief Vicki Wardlow, “she is not employed here anymore.” The department’s website had not yet been updated on March 9 to reflect Wardlow’s departure. But in a post made to her own Facebook page on Monday evening, Wells welcomed Harget as the department s new chief. The post included a picture of Harget surrounded by other Buckeye Lake Police department members. A similar post also appeared on the Buckeye Lake Police Facebook page. ....
