Yesterday. The pastor spotted the flames and shut off the electricity and called 911. The flames spread quickly to the roof. It went to four alarms. 100 firefighters were on scene here by the end of it spraying water from all directions. Some of the parishoners who have been here for generations were stunned. This is my life. I come here every sunday. Its our church. The whole neighborhood. I was baptized here. My kids are baptized here. My mom came here. I am just brokenhearted. I dont know what to do. Reporter and no injuries. There was one firefighter who did sur one suffer one medical injury. Back to you. Keit, do we know why the flames spread is quickly . Reporter this building a 100 years old. There is a lot of timber construction. A lot of it was dried out. They had older construction methods. You put that all together, thats why this went up so quickly. The deadly accident in cupertino. A bay area teenager biking to school never made it to class. A big rig collided with him. Christian hart net joins us from the scene of the deadly collision on mcclellan road. The truck driver had no idea he had hit the boy on his bike. A driver who saw the truck driver hit the boy happened to chase down the truck and got him to stop. The car was honking frantically at the truck and stopped it a half mile away. Police say that the truck driver is being cooperative. The boy was wearing a helmet and police are trying to figure out more about what happened. Were not sure where the bicyclist was and where the truck was and thats one of the things the investigators will determine. Police are making calls to local schools and we were told that the Sheriffs Office is waiting to release the information until later today.
