Opening at 10 a.m. Saturday, “From Heroes to Immortals: Classical Mythological Prints” and “A Room With a View: Science of the Italian Countryside” will feature works from OKCMOA’s permanent collection. “From Heroes to Immortals” will feature 500 years of work on paper that explore people’s fascination with stories from classical mythology, said Bryn Schockmel, curator for both exhibitions, in a news release. “A Room With a View” will feature the Italian countryside’s sweeping vistas and ancient runes, especially from 19th-century American artists. ....
