Kansas State University’s School of Music, Theatre, and Dance is showcasing students and faculty in “Reflections, Spring Dance Concert ‘23″ at 7:30 p.m. Friday, March 31 and Saturday, April 1 in McCain Auditorium.
The National Leadership Conference for the Business Professionals of America included 28 local students.
Business Professionals of America is a youth organization which provides leadership and business opportunities for middle school and high school students to prepare them for their future careers. The skills that students learn through participating in a variety of business experiences are beneficial and will help prepare students for a career in the workforce, coach Mindy Eggleston said.
The conference took place virtually from April 26-May 8, 2021; over 6,000 students across the nation participated. At this conference, students participated in business related events and competed for the top spots. Hillsdale Community Schools had a total of 28 students who placed in the top ten of the nation.
