we ll see you then, melissa. thank you. 6:01 now. new this morning the governor of south carolina expected to sign a bill today that will remove the confederate flag from the state capital grounds there. the south carolina house of representatives passed a bill, that was after hours of emotional, sometimes tearful debate. once governor haley signs the bill, the flag should come down within 24 hours. haley and a lot of her fellow lawmakers are responding to calls from across the country to remove that flag after the racially motivated killing of black worshipers in charleston. at 1:30 this morning after a vote there, haley tweeted it s a new day in south carolina. now a lot of folks seem to agree with her, there was a cartoon posted showing the flag and it said, going, going gone on that cartoon. another person tweeted finally. one state, one flag. efforts here on capitol hill to ban the confederate flag in federal cemeteries is proving controversial as well. the measure
