The brainchild of Faith Wright, a resident of Hawthorne Place, who decided to decorate some old stone paving flags and via WhatsApp got together with neighbours to encourage households down the street to create images to brighten their days and to show support for the NHS. There are still one or two outside on doorsteps and they cheer me every time I pass by, said neighbour Fiona Belcham.
During the second lockdown, Faith again put her thinking cap on and teamed up with neighbours Rachel Harper and Fiona Belcham (again via WhatsApp) hoping for the opportunity to spread the joy a little further. This time with larger paving flags (thanks to Gemma and John) and a proposed a trail around Brungerley Park for the wider community to enjoy.
