Police at the scene of the accident in Sagar Bhatti (inset) was killed. A MAN accused of manslaughter following a fatal road accident has denied being responsible for the victim s death. Kieran Hobbs is accused of killing Sagar Bhatti, who was hit by two cars as he lay in Woodside Avenue, Eastleigh, in March 2019. Hobbs, 31, was initially arrested on suspicion of murder and was interviewed by police the day after the accident. John Price, prosecuting, read out a transcript of the interview, during which Hobbs denied murdering Mr Bhatti, 23, or being responsible for his death. He said he returned home at around 5am, half-an-hour before the accident, and knew nothing of Mr Bhatti s death until police arrived at his house. ....
