The GEM Appeal charity was founded in 1994 after founder Karen Johnson’s sons, Simon and Mikey, were diagnosed with Hunter Syndrome. GEM Appeal to host its annual Christmas Cracker virtually Date published: 17 December 2020 Last year s GEM Appeal Magic Castle Ball Following the success of the virtual Strawberry Sparkle event in August, The GEM Appeal are bringing their virtual Christmas Cracker to you this weekend. To be hosted on Saturday 19 December from 4.30pm, the local charity is inviting the public to join them via Zoom to celebrate the festive season.
