Seymour girls take down Floyd Central 12/18/20 12:06 AM Grace Meyer collected 12 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Seymour girls basketball team to a 38-24 victory over Floyd Central on the road Thursday night. Kendall Sterling had 13 points and added 5 rebounds after the Owls got off to a quick 10-2 lead at the end of the first quarter. Grace Schrader contributed 7 points and another 5 rebounds for Seymour, now 5-5. The Owls displayed tight defense throughout the night. After limiting the hosts to 2 points in the opening period, Seymour held Floyd Central under 10 points in each of the other three quarters, as well.
