Boots With Meaning: Indigenous Round 2021

Boots With Meaning: Indigenous Round 2021 Author Share on social media The Broncos called on some talented Beyond the Broncos Girls Academy students to paint our players football boots for the NRL’s 2021 Indigenous Round. Each with their own story, the boots were inspired by the students’ culture and identity, and tell a story of people coming together. Over 20 students took part in the painting process, with boots reaching as far as Cunnamulla in Queensland and Lismore in New South Wales. Beyond the Broncos Alumni Shayla alongside her student support officer Katelyn Iselin from Lowood SHS Students were asked to come up with their own design and story, with Beyond the Broncos alumni student Shayla McGill creating some incredible artwork for superstar winger Xavier Coates.
