The No. 7-ranked Clarkston Wolves’ wrestling saw their team season come to an end with a 55-22 defeat to the No. 2 Hartland Eagles in Wednesday’s regional final.

The West Bloomfield senior scored a takedown of Milford’s Kyle Scofield in the final second to collect a 3-1 victory in the 285-pound district championship match.
The Clarkston wrestling team defeated Oxford, 36-32, to capture its third-straight OAA Red division championship. The Wolves had beaten Bloomfield Hills earlier Wednesday night.
The visiting Clarkston Wolves built an early lead and used some clutch performances throughout the match, picking up a 36-32 win over the host Oxford Wildcats, claiming their third-straight Oakland Activities Association Red division title.
