[applause] he is the 67th attorney general for the state of new york and the first woman of color to hold statewide office in york in the first woman to be elected new York Attorney general. Previously, she was elected public advocate for the city of new york on the first woman of color to hold citywide office. She has served as a watchdog over new york City Government agencies and advocate for the most vulnerable communities. Her office passed numerous legislation including round baking law that banned questions about Salary History in the employment process. She successfully pushed the Largest Pension Fund to invest in ammunition retailers and fought in court on behalf of children and families. Prior to that, she served on the new York City Council where she passed the state housing act forcing landlords to improve Living Conditions in the
