Kindness, sharp eyes help locate Grenada Elementary custodian s missing ear buds

Students at Grenada Elementary School banded together over Kindness Week earlier this month to help a staff member locate his missing ear buds.
Gary Alford, who does maintenance and custodial work at the school and is also a bus driver, was in the field area at the school taking his lunch break on Feb. 11 when he noticed his ear bud-style headphones were missing.
The word quickly spread, and classes were allowed to help in the search.
Different classes continued the search Thursday and Friday to no avail. With no school over the weekend and on Monday due to the Presidents Day holiday, the search for the earbuds continued in earnest on Tuesday.
