The decision to upgrade the culinary options on its short haul flights coincides with completion of WiFi across BA’s short haul Airbus fleet, and the ability to pre-order duty free items directly to customers’ seats through its inflight retail site. These include signature pies and sandwiches, which can be purchased by the airlineâs Euro Traveller (short-haul economy) customers. British Airways will continue offering complimentary refreshments introduced in response to the coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic. British Airways believes the new pre-order concept represents a renewed focus on its new short-haul onboard customer experience.
