Two political parties in Bristol have defended their decision to continue campaigning in Bristol this weekend despite Prince Philip s death on Friday.
However, the Lib Dem candidate for the Bristol Central ward tweeted about being out campaigning on Saturday, while the Greens were seen canvassing in Easton and Southville this weekend and it is understood they were also leafleting in the central ward.
And, in a tweet by Central Bristol Greens, they defended their decision, saying: Campaigning has not been suspended. Tories, Labour & Lib Dems have chosen to, Greens have not. ....
