Outward looking, the proeuropean, proengagement with the rest of the world versus the far right National Front marine la pen who is inward looking, who wanted to suspend all immigration, wanted to pull out of the eu, nato and all those things and really campaigned on fear and loathing. Thats why this is so big. Up until now the french have always banded together to make sure the National Front gets nowhere near the highest political office. This time it was a little touch and go. You didnt see the same number of people coming in to the streets after she won the first round. And this is an incredibly poisonous Political Party that started under her father on a platform of antisemitism, denying the holocaust on which marine la pen layered all sorts of phobia. Around europe theres been a lot of congratulations. I think wha ....

This follows the bombshell news that the Cooperation Agreement between manafort and the special counsel has collapsed in spectacular fashion. Robert mueller charges that the former Trump Campaign chair has breached his plea agreement by repeatedly lying to investigators. The stunning reversal comes with potentially devastating consequences for both manafort and mueller. For the special counsel, the more than twoyearold probe has now lost a key cooperating witness, and any information manafort provided is tainted. Prosecuted cant credibly call someone to testify who theyve labeled a liar, after all. For manafort, muellers filing means more prison time and possibly even more charges. In his plea, he promised to tell the government everything the special counsel wanted to hear, and hes made it clear that any promises of leniency are now null and void and that manafort cou ....

A Supportive Union audience, part of a joe biden effort to show he remains a 2020 force. Whoa. Thank you. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Please, thank you. This may go to my head. When you retire, you deserve every damn penny you work for, not a penny less. I mean it. I mean it. Im tired of it. And we begin the hour right there with joe bidens attempt at a campaign reset even though he is indeed an unofficial 2020 candidate yet. Hes speaking at a place he feels most welcome, a big union conference. Blue collar appeal is what biden sees as his calling card, but a week of controversy has democrats wondering. Wondering more is probably the best way to say it whether hes a good man but perhaps a bad fit for the moment. Several have quoted women saying biden has made them uncomfortable at events. He put a video out saying he gets it and hell be more respectful. Yet he thought this was funny after sharing a hug with a union worker. ....
