Maryland women’s lacrosse stars Lizzie Colson, Brindi Griffin, and Grace Griffin were named Preseason All-Americans by Inside Lacrosse Monday. Colson, a redshirt senior and defender, took home first-team honors. Fifth-year attacker Brindi Griffin and senior midfielder Grace Griffin earned third-team and honorable mention honors, respectively. Now a three-time All-American, Colson has also amassed multiple All-Big Ten and All-Big Ten tournament awards over her career in College Park despite missing all of 2020 with an ACL injury.
