MANILA - A total of 17 females are among the latest batch of prospective Philippine Navy (PN) officers and enlisted personnel who started their military training. PN spokesperson Commander Benjo Negranza, in a statement Wednesday, said these females along with 51 males belong to the Naval Officers Candidate Course (NOCC) Class 38 from the Naval Education, Training, and Doctrine Command in San Antonio, Zambales and were turned over for training by the Navy Personnel Management Center (NPMC). These personnel took their oath in a ceremony at the Marine Barracks Rudiardo Brown in Fort Bonifacio on Tuesday. The NPMC also turned over 227 candidate sailors belonging to the Sailor Basic Course (SBC) Classes 22, 23, 24, and 25 to the Brigade Training and Doctrine Center (BTDC) of the Naval Combat Engineer Brigade.
