Daily Times May 6, 2021 Pakistan on Wednesday urged the United Nations, WHO and ICRC to take cognizance of the deteriorating medical supplies for the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir and set up an International Humanitarian Medical Corridor to help provide medical support to the Kashmiri people. The urge was made by the Parliamentary Committee on Kashmir which held its special session to urge the world to set up an international medical corridor to provide medical support to the people of Jammu and Kashmir. 8 March 2021 Elects Rosemary Kayess as Chairperson The Committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities this afternoon opened its twenty-fourth online session, hearing solemn declarations by seven new Committee members, electing its Chair and Bureau, and adopting its agenda and programme of work. Ibrahim Salama, Chief, Human Rights Treaties Branch, Human Rights Council and Treaty Mechanisms Division, Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights, opening the session, said that this was the second online session for the Committee and would be carried out from today, 8 March until 1 April 2021. He extended a warm welcome to the seven new members of the Committee who started their mandate on 1 January 2021, noting that with the results of the December 2020 election, the gender composition of the Committee had changed to 12 women among 18 members. ....
