Clyde Gateway Urban Regeneration Company (URC) is recruiting an architect for a £700,000 retrofit of Olympia House in Bridgeton [Deadline: 28 May 2021]
The team selected for the estimated £85,000 contract will draw up plans to transform the landmark East End building – formerly headquarters of the Grand Orange Lodge of Scotland – into new open plan offices.

The 393m² project, planned to complete in 2022, will deliver a ‘distinctive, cost effective, architecturally stimulating and innovative’ conversion of the two-storey red sandstone building into new flexible workspace for local businesses.
According to the brief: ‘Olympia House is a two-storey red sandstone building within the Bridgeton Cross Conservation Area, Glasgow. The building is not a listed building.
