In a statement Thursday, the county said it hired Christine Rush, whose role is “to increase the public’s understanding of the many offerings and public services provided by local government.”
According to the statement, Rush will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the presence of the county government departments, and the business of the Board of Supervisors in the media, on social media, and other platforms.
“This important role will ensure that Saratoga County residents are aware of where their tax dollars are being spent, understand the programs and services that are available to them, and are better informed about how the County is working on their behalf,” the statement read.
