Auckland restaurant staff 'badly shaken' after armed robbery

An Auckland restaurant is closed after an armed robbery.
The incident took place about 8am on Monday at a restaurant on Clark St in West Auckland’s New Lynn, acting detective senior sergeant Mike Clubb said.
The restaurant involved is believed to be Bricklane Restaurant and Bar.
Clubb said one person, armed with a firearm, was involved in the robbery.
“No-one was hurt in the incident and no money was stolen due to security measures in place.”
On social media, Bricklane said it would be closed for the next few days following a “security incident” on Monday.
“None of our team were injured during this incident but are badly shaken,” the post said. ....
