Thug knocked teen's tooth out in Brickfield Park attack


A THUG whose punch knocked a teen’s front tooth out and left him with hearing problems has been sentenced to immediate custody.
Ethan Moran, who had taken class A drugs beforehand, launched the attack on a 16-year-old boy after disapproving of who he had entered a relationship with.
The 20-year-old continued to punch the teen to the head after knocking him to the ground and only stopped after desperate pleas from shocked onlookers.
Despite his defence asking for a community order by way of punishment, Liverpool Crown Court ruled that the only appropriate punishment was immediate custody.
Suzanne Payne, prosecuting, explained that for ‘reasons unknown’, the defendant objected to his victim starting a relationship with a 15-year-old girl. ....
