Chief Presidential Legal Counsel Salvador Panelo told the camp of flight attendant Christine Dacera to stop seeking justice and insisting that there was foul play behind her death, saying there was no crime that happened to begin with and too many people from both sides got hurt already.

Panelo made the statement after the family of Dacera, who died after a New Year’s party in a hotel in Makati early this year, contested the latest report of the Philippine National Police saying the flight attendant died due to natural causes.
In the January 29, 2021 episodes of his show “Counterpoint”, he asked the Dacera family and their lawyer and spokesman Brick Reyes about the justice that they are seeking. He also advised Reyes to do his job properly.
'If we need to exhume the body, let’s exhume the body so we can compare the DNA on her arms, on her legs with the DNA on the alleged organs,' says the family's lawyer

Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, January 29) The family of Christine Dacera on Friday insisted that a DNA test be performed on the tissue samples and organs mentioned in the recent medico-legal report of the Philippine National Police that stated the flight attendant died of natural causes and not by rape or homicide. They wanted to determine if the samples cited in the PNP report really belonged to the flight attendant.
“The Dacera family has decided to insist on a DNA examination of all these specimens mentioned by Dr. Palmero, of all organs allegedly examined to be inside the body of Christine,” Dacera family spokesman Brick Reyes said in a briefing.
