Ban for drink-driver nearly four times the limit A man who was caught nearly four times over the drink-drive limit has been banned from the road. Brian Wakefield was charged after he drove his Nissan Pathfinder on Duddon Road in Askam on September 13. The 54-year-old pleaded guilty to drink-driving when he appeared at South Cumbria Magistrates Court. The court heard he had 127 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath; over the limit of 35.
