MIDDLEBURG – A Harrisburg dentist is accused of raping a 15-year-old Snyder County girl and several times giving her a “morning after pill.”
Michael Boyd Damgaard, 33, of Dauphin, is charged by state police with numerous counts including rape and involuntary deviate sexual intercourse under threat of force and statutory sexual assault.
He surrendered Wednesday at the office of District Judge Lori R. Hackenberg and was detained in lieu of $175,000 bail which he later posted.
Damgaard admitted twice going on a “hiking date” with the girl but denied having sex with her or filming the encounters as she alleged, the arrest affidavit states.
