Three things have gun to light up here outside of new york city where we have so much moisture in the atmosphere, clouds basically have to ring themselves out. Thats kind of the story. So, when you get these dew points as high as they are, in other words, the moisture content in the air, you are going to be dealing with a very saturated air mass. And that means, whether there is storm system or not, you can end up if the conditions are ripe with basically just heating of the day, triggering a spotty shower or storm.
