King Council approves apartment complex

By Neill Caldwell [email protected]
KING Meeting Monday night, the City Council approved a rezoning request that will allow a new apartment complex to be built on Newsome Road.

This new Newsome Road complex may be slightly larger, he said, as the Conrad location has 60 units and this one has been approved for 80. The apartments will be one-, two-, and three-bedrooms, in five two-story buildings. Rent for these apartments will be on a scale based on income. ....
