Punta Gorda man sentenced for stalking, mailing fecal matter and dead kitten to victim Published: February 10, 2021 10:27 AM EST A Punta Gorda man was sentenced Tuesday for stalking and conspiracy to commit stalking. Bretton Howard Osborne, 29, was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Sheri Polster Chappell to three years and eight months in federal prison for stalking and conspiracy to commit stalking. He was also ordered to complete 300 hours of community service. Osborne’s co-defendant, Ian Douglas McGuire, 30, of Port Charlotte, was previously sentenced to five years in federal prison for the same offenses. Osborne and McGuire have also been ordered to pay victim restitution. ....
