Arizona State University’s Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication took 23 awards, including five first place finishes, at the 2024 Broadcast Education Association’s (BEA) Festival of Media Arts contest.
The Cronkite School at ASU has launched a new signature professional immersion program based at ASU’s California Center in Los Angeles that allows students to specialize in content creation.
The Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University captured major awards at the national 2023 Broadcast Education Association’s (BEA) Festival of Media Arts contest. Cronkite students won 31 awards, including four first place finishes and two “Best of Festival” awards. The “Best of Festival” prizes are the highest honors awarded at the festival, with only 12 student winners chosen from more than 1,650 entries.

The Cronkite School will serve as an academic partner for the event, collaborating with The 19th to produce content about the 50th anniversary of Title IX.
