In a statement on Thursday, the PCA said Central Visayas Acting Regional Manager Brendan Trasmonte signed the turn-over documents of the confiscated goods contained in 42 40-footer container vans from the Cebu District Collection Office in the Port of Cebu. After the ceremony, the group went to the Cebu Port Authority compound to inspect and turn over the confiscated items. PCA seeks coco farmer reps to PCA Board Philippine Information Agency 10 May 2021, 16:38 GMT+10 NEGROS ORIENTAL, May 10 (PIA) The Philippine Coconut Authority (PCA) has encouraged the coconut farmers in the province to join and submit their nomination and selection requirements on May 12 to reconstitute famer representatives in the PCA Board. In a Zoom conference with provincial and regional nomination and screening committee, PCA Regional Manager Brendan Trasmonte said coconut farmers organizations, association or cooperatives could best represent their groups and participate in the upcoming and provincial and regional conventions. However, Trasmonte said the PCA provincial offices have already started accepting qualified nominees after an information campaign on the mechanics of the process with coco farmers in the province. ....
