Former Roscommon manager Kevin McStay says his money is on Kerry to end Dublin’s reign and capture the Sam Maguire Cup this year.
The Mayo native doesn’t feel the Dubs improved last year despite claiming a sixth All-Ireland title in-a-row and, speaking to Midwest Radio, he said he doesn’t expect Kerry to be caught out this year like they were last November by a late Mark Keane goal in the Munster semi-finals against Cork.
“From this position, my money would absolutely be on Kerry to win the All-Ireland. There’s a lot of football to be played but look what happened last year – Kerry are the Galway of Munster, they ended up with nothing, McStay pointed out. ....
