Voters are headed to the polls today to decide a host of local, state and federal races as well as a West Bonner County supplemental levy election.
Polls are open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. countywide.
With the deadline to withdraw as a candidate in the rearview mirror, the slate of candidates for the May 21 primary election is set.
That means the list of candidates who will appear on the May ballot is final, county and state officials said. The primary election which will be held May 21 will include races for U.S. representatives, state legislators, judicial offices, and county races.
The slate of candidates in the May 21 legislative races has firmed up after filings closed last Friday, with District 1 seeing 16 candidates campaigning to represent the area covering most of Bonner County and all of Boundary County.
