Stepped up police patrols. Six armed robberies in six days all of them happening at night. One robbery was caught on video where you see a man robbing three students on north 18th street at gun point. Rash of robberies has students at temple talking. Its a little scary. One of the robberies happened right outside of kelsey interprets front door. Dont be on your phone. Dont wear your headphones. Always look up. Be alert. But at the same time you never know if youre just going to be a victim. Reporter robberies happened between may 14th and may 20th all of them win blocks of item polls north philadelphia main campus. Police believe the suspects are teenagers getting away with cash smart phones and bookbags. Its definitely disappointing. I do think sometimes you need to be a little more aware of your surroundings. Of hospital records and other information. eight patients from the crash remain in critical condition at temple university hospital. the hospital said most have severe rib cage injuries and fractures from objects hurled at them as the train jumped the tracks. he is confident these patients will recover. one good silver lining we re learning there. meantime ntsb says the initial data they have shows the train was barreling into the curve at more than 100 miles per hour before that derailment happened. that s more than twice the 50 miles per hour speed limit if you will for that curve in that area. the engineer identified at 32-year-old brendan bostian. his attorney tells nbc news he has no recollection of the crash. he remembers coming into the curve. he remembers attempting to reduce speed thereafter. ....
