Job fair offers connections for Zeeland Adult Education students HOLLAND Students who recently completed programs through Zeeland Adult Education had a chance to network with area businesses during a job fair Wednesday afternoon. The students recently completed their GEDs, as well as certificates in skilled trades programs at the Ottawa Area Intermediate School District through a Michigan Special Programs grant. The job fair Wednesday, June 2, at Midtown Center in Holland focused on employment opportunities for students who recently completed welding, HVAC and machining certificates. West Michigan Works partnered with ZAE and OAISD to bring in employers. “They’re excited,” ZAE Program Director Mike O’Connor said. They want jobs that pay more, that have better hours. ....
