The FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour veterans, who played in two finals in the first four events of the season, including the latest, finally claimed victory and stepped on to the top step of the podium at the Brazilian Federation training facility in Saquarema. They secured a convincing 2-0 (21-14, 21-17) win over reigning Brazilian champions Andre Loyola and George Wanderley and took the gold medals in the fifth event of the season.
