In ireland, mourners have gathered for the funeral of the singer sinead o connor, who died last month, aged 56. the funeral procession in the coastal town of bray, near dublin, passed the musician s former home. thousands of people lined the route. 0ur reporter sara garvin was there. much of that crowd of thousands that has lined the streets here in bray since very early this morning has now dispersed. some fans do remain outside the singer s former home here in bray. you can hear that they are playing music, they have been singing, laying flowers and tributes and sharing memories of the singer and activist. 0ne fan told us earlier that she got up at 2am this morning to travel here. another couple have just stopped us to show us pictures of their grandchildren with the star. that is how much she s thought of here, and how important it was for people to be in bray today. after a private service this morning, just about an hour ago, the funeral cortege passed through this coastal road, p ....
