A new project which aims to address the social isolation experienced by the younger generation in the aftermath of the pandemic, particularly if they identify as LGBTQIA+, has been launched in Bray with the backing of Wicklow County Council and Bray Area Partnership.
IT recruitment firm Eolas Recruitment has offered its support for Bray Area Partnership’s (BAP) Food Cloud programme. Eolas’s financial contribution will consolidate the support for people who are marginalised and disadvantaged in the Wicklow area.
A debate over the need for Bray to have its own ‘town team’ took place at the January meeting of Bray Municipal District, where councillors felt more time was needed before approving a body that would enable its stakeholders to have a say on projects for Bray town centre.
