Out here. Theres a lot of ash coming down and a lot of smoke. This five alarm fire started at 3 00. San jose firefighters had to call in mutual aid. It is still a very active scene. I counted more than a dozen fire vehicles and that was maybe ten minutes ago, more have since shown up. A fiveinch line has been pulled connected to a fire hydrant and a gun shooting 1,000 gallons of water at this fire a minute. When firefighters arrived the building, which is the former kntv station was fully engulfed in flames. This is a building they problems with in the past. There are vagrants who live inside. The wind, as i mentioned kicking up right now, might spark other fires. Firefighters say they are watching the area should any embers spark other fires. This is very close to home, also very close to the san jose training facility. There is heavy ash and smoke in the area making it very difficult to breathe. Please be aware of that if you live in the area, make sure to shut your windows and stay ....
