Officers help area residents in crisis Ellsworth Police Log Week of March 18 ELLSWORTH Police responded to separate reports of two local residents suffering mental health issues. Officer Adam Bouchard spoke with a person in crisis on March 12 who was subsequently taken to Northern Light Maine Coast Hospital for an evaluation. On March 14, Officer Amie Torrey responded to a report of a woman with a knife. Torrey found the woman, who was then taken in for a mental health evaluation. Harassment and threats Officers are investigating a complaint of threatening that was reported on March 9. Police received a report of threatening situation on March 10 from a resident who just wanted it documented with no action taken. ....
